Oriel Davis-Lyons
ONE School Co-Founder, CCO Mother New York
Oriel Davis Lyons is the Co-founder of ONE School, the first online portfolio school for Black creatives. Founded in partnership with The One Club for Creativity in 2020, students are taught by the industry’s top Black creatives. To date the school has graduated more than 154 students who are now working at agencies and brands.
In January 2023, Oriel was named CCO of Mother NY. While at his previous post at Spotify, he worked across a variety of projects, including the annual Wrapped campaign. At Droga5, his work included a spot during the 2016 election called "Role Models" for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, as well as continuing the long-running "Seize the Awkward" platform in partnership with the Ad Council. Additionally, he founded a work-from-home wear brand, Corpleisure, in 2021.
Sergio Claudio
Head of Mentorship, VP, Brand, Creative, & Digital | Zuora
Sergio is a Global Creative and Technology Executive with over 15 years of experience building high-performance creative, product, and marketing teams for agencies, brands, and leading tech companies. A designer by trade, his storied career spans across 9 cities and multiple internal and external agencies– driving global brand campaigns, innovative digital experiences, entertainment marketing, and global events for brands like Adobe, Amazon, Disney, Apple, Facebook, and many more.
While his diverse experience in marketing, creative direction, and technology has helped global brands build award-winning creative work, he is also invests his time in building future world-class creative leaders through his work as a mentor and advisor in ONE School, and speaking with students at top Design & Advertising institutions around the country.
Clarence Bradley
Atlanta Co-Tutor, CCO Campbell-Ewald
Clarence Bradley considers himself a Hustler of Culture. It's a lyric he took from Public Enemy that speaks to what he does in advertising. Having worked everywhere from LA to London, for everyone from Wieden+Kennedy to Apple, the thing he enjoys most about his career is helping young people rise and shine in the industry.
Sherman Winfield
Atlanta Co-Tutor, ECD VMLY&R
Sherman Winfield is an Executive Creative Director at VMLY&R, overseeing creative efforts in both Atlanta and Kansas City offices. He’s worked on an assortment of amazing brands, including Coca-Cola, McCormick, French’s, Domino’s, New York Lottery, Best Buy, Obama for America, PNC Bank, and others. His work has been internationally recognized and awarded by One Show, Art Director’s Club, Cannes, D&AD, Effies, Radio Mercury, New York Festivals, Webbys, and many more.
He’s overly obsessed with sneaker collecting, the grilling and smoking of meats, and spending time with his superhero wife, two baby boys, and puppy named Coltrane (often confused with “Soul Train”, but that works too).
Lewis Williams
Chicago Co-Tutor
ECD, VP Brand Impact, Weber Shandwick
Before becoming EDC at Weber Shandwick, Lewis began his career as an Art Director at Burrell for 15 years before his tenure at Leo Burnett Chicago where he became an SVP CD on brands such as The U.S. Army, McDonald’s, P&G, Allstate, Budweiser, Miller Lite, and Walt Disney World. Classically trained in graphic design and art direction, Lewis is versatile in all aspects of the creative process. His general market experience along with extensive African American consumer expertise gives him a unique and valuable perspective in the marketplace. His ability to turn strategies and insights into fresh business-building creative has made him the benefactor of awards, such as The One Show, New York Festivals, Addys, Creativity Effie, and the ARF David Ogilvy Award.
Terrence Burrell
Chicago Co-Tutor, ECD
Terrence is a writer, creative problem solver, strategic thinker, leader, and mentor. As an award-winning, multicultural expert with over twenty years of creative marketing and advertising experience, he understands the importance of creative storytelling that's emotional and motivating while also achieving business objectives. Terrence has worked with national advertisers such as The AD Council, Allstate, Coca-Cola, Comcast, Google, Hillshire Farms, McDonald's, Red Lobster, P&G, Toyota, Verizon, Walmart, and others.
An avid Science/Sci-Fi geek and DIYer, Terrence spends his free time reading, traveling with friends and family, starting and mostly finishing random DIY projects around the home, and looking up at the stars.
Thalia Forbes
Los Angeles Tutor, CD, Spotify
Thalia began her advertising career as an administrative assistant at Saatchi & Saatchi. As a first-generation Jamaican-American, she wasn’t exposed to advertising as a career option. However, after a lifelong love of storytelling, activism and art-making led her to work everywhere from house-painting to Vogue to assisting Van Jones, she has enjoyed an award-winning career in the field. Winning a Sports Emmy for her work on NBC’s Winter Olympics campaign has been one of the highs, while directing content for Wealthsimple has led her to set new sights.
Ramon Ariel

Ramon Ariel is an award-winning copywriter/art director born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Harlem, NYC. He likes to create work that taps into human insights and grabs people's attention. He was voted most likely to make you laugh by all his friends, especially that one time he ripped his pants while twerking at a wedding in St. Maarten. "It's not my fault they played Beyonce" -Ramon
Bárbara Polanco

Barbara is a proud native of The Bronx, NY, the birthplace of hip hop and all things culture. Her background growing up in NYC as a first-generation Dominican-American woman has shaped her creative approach and view of the world. She is a multi-hyphenate creative and has directed music videos/conceptual shoots for music artists and fashion designers. She is a PROUD graduate of the inaugural class of the One School and is currently an Art Director at Ogilvy CA.

Every Tuesday evening, you will hear from the industry’s top creative minds talk about everything from creating killer campaigns to negotiating your first salary. This is your chance to ask questions, take notes, and learn from the ad industry’s very best people. You will also be paired with a creative mentor who will be on hand to give you advice and feedback on your work through the program.
